The NPL power quality waveform library presents a collection of waveforms used in the calibration of electrical measurement instruments associated with mains frequency power quality. These instruments include Wattmeters, Harmonic Analysers and Flickermeters.
The purpose of the library is to:
- Publish the details of the waveforms used at NPL such that they can be reproduced by others
- Inform NPL's customers of the options to specify the calibration of a given instrument
- For use as a cross-reference to the method of calibration on a certificate (test report)
